Travel Route – Johannesburg to Amsterdam

Thanks for checking in! Mercy is home and adjusting to the Netherlands well. It was a stressful experience as you can imagine, but your assistance helped greatly and JP was fantastic – on time and helpful.
The only bit of feedback is that the KLM services desk seemed a bit confused that a dog would come through cargo? When I arrived in the baggage area, two dogs came out of the oversized baggage area so I thought maybe that’s what you meant by “cargo” so I stayed there waiting for a bit, then went to the services desk and showed them the waybill. The lady seemed confused and called cargo, but obviously her confusion made me a little worried. Nothing wrong with your instructions – just know that KLM themselves are not always clued up on their own services! Also, we could only fetch Mercy about 3 hours after the plane arrived.
