Our journey began in 1989 when a kenneling client from our well-established Snowpine Kennels requested that we transport their furry companion to Europe. Having previously navigated the intricacies of international pet imports for our own beloved animals, we embraced the challenge. With determination, we successfully relocated our first canine friend, and thus, the seed was planted for Global Paws.

Fast forward 35 years, and we've become the proud caretakers of over 65,000 pets, crafting an equivalent number of IATA-approved travel kennels to ensure their safety and comfort throughout their journeys. Global Paws, now firmly rooted, stands tall with offices in Johannesburg and Cape Town, manned by a dedicated team of 29 individuals who, as fellow pet owners, comprehend the anxieties our clients entrust us with when it comes to their furry companions.

In the blink of an eye, time has flown by, and our commitment to reuniting pets with their families remains unwavering. Our passion and ethical approach have not gone unnoticed, earning Global Paws the prestigious Brand of the Year accolade for 2019/2020 and once again in 2022/2023 from the esteemed World Branding Awards in their Animalis Edition. Since the grand opening of our Vet Room in May 2019, Global Paws has gone from strength to strength. This dedicated space, nestled within our Johannesburg premises, marked a pivotal moment in our journey. With our own devoted veterinarian on-site, we assure our clients that all veterinary travel requirements are diligently met, adhering to the latest industry standards. Not only has this development streamlined procedures for our furry guests at Snowpine Kennels, allowing them to undergo veterinary travel procedures and health certificate endorsements without leaving their familiar kennel environment, but it has also become a catalyst for our continued growth and success.

Dedicated to enhancing the overall travel experience, we have implemented a range of initiatives. For our clients, we take pride in offering the complimentary Pet Protection Plan, providing additional security, and reaffirming our commitment to their peace of mind. Our cherished pet travelers now enjoy the benefits of the Traveler Comfort Pack, a carefully curated collection of travel accessories that exceed industry standards, ensuring a more comfortable journey.

Remaining vigilant to the ever-evolving rules and regulations within the pet travel industry, we stay connected with IPATA, the world's foremost pet travel association. It's worth noting that our owner and director have served on the board as the regional director for Africa and the Middle East.

In our relentless pursuit of excellence, we have instituted a 48-hour quote return commitment, introduced a customer care liaison, conducted mid and post-service satisfaction surveys, and empowered our team managers to vigilantly monitor every pet shipment.
